A sudden flood of cocomelon and kids channels, after clicking “don’t recommend channel” to all of them- no more videos appear on my recommended below currently playing videos. 3. Award. sunshine_lover47. • 9 mo. ago. Seems to be some kind of new bug, no clue how this happens or how to fix. Unfortunately just have to wait on Youtube to ...

Alternatives? : r/toddlers. Is cocomelon bad for kids? Alternatives? I came across online information suggesting that Cocomelon is excessively stimulating and fast-paced, which might not be beneficial for a child’s brain development and could potentially lead to issues. Could you recommend some suitable alternatives?

The sheer amount of cocomelon rip offs is crazy. Little baby bum, loo loo kids, baby bus, I could go on. Its driving me crazy. I'll be completely honest. My son will be 2 in March and his grandma gave him her old iPhone. Lockdown has been hard... So sometimes I just hand him youtube kids (supervised so he doesnt run across anything super weird ...

I know you’re specifically asking about Cocomelon, but I just got through a hellish travel with a 2 year old (he did great, the travel itself was tough) and the Disney+ app was a life saver. I had downloaded all of Bluey and a couple other things and it really saved us a couple times.

Cocomelon is terrible and still better than like 90% of the YouTube BS out there. Though Netflix does have pretty good kids shows like Spirit Rangers and Ridley Jones for slightly older kids. Reply reply

Today mom turned on CocoMelon and already my sister was more annoyed, I’ve removed it from the watch history and spammed “don’t recommend channel” on every video with it in the recommendations. Make a YouTube kids account. You can pick and choose specific videos and/or channels that you approve of and nothing else will pop up!

Choose the child’s profile and there will be another page of settings just for their account. My daughter is currently on her tablet so I can’t give exact section names, but there’s one that says something along the lines of “block content” or “manage content”. Choose that and it’ll ask you to type in what you want to block - do ...

We use YouTube kids! You can customize it to where only approved content is shown, so you can block certain channels and stuff. FYI cocomelon has multiple channels. So if you block one on YouTube kids don’t be surprised that cocomelon videos pop up anyway. You have to block it a few times to get them all.

There's a browser extension called BlockTube that works great for blocking any channel you want. I literally spent less than a minute blocking all the related channels like cocomelon's nursery rhymes, JJ's animal adventure, etc. Once you install this Chrome/Firefox extension, just type in the keywords that you want blocked in the field"Channel ...

yeahthatsnotaproblem. •. Cocomelon is perfectly fine for your toddlers. Their brains have only been alive for 3 years, this is the perfect thing for their age. Toddlers respond well to repetition and songs. It's not for you and your fully developed brain, it's for them and their under developed brains.
